Useful number: 3,700 W continuous. The carton says 4,500. That number is peak. 120 V only.
Model iGen4500c (not DF/DFc, not iGen5000): gasoline, 224 cc, CO auto-shutdown, 3.4 gal tank, parallel cord extra, floating neutral, no panel GFCI. Owner's manual: 4,500 peak / 3,700 running at 120 V (~30.8 A). Runtime claims at 25% are light-load numbers.
Yes as a wheeled 120 V inverter in the high-3 kW continuous class. No as a “4500-watt home backup” or a 240 V well-pump machine. Size the load to 3,700 W running.
