It depends — 2,600 W running / 3,200 W max, 120 V only, recoil start, L5-30R not TT-30R; 59.1 lb; MSRP $2,799
For a quiet, 59 lb, 120 V gasoline inverter that holds a fridge, furnace blower, lights, and network gear, plus one window AC or microwave: 2,600 W running. The 3,200 W in the name is maximum output, not what it holds all night.
Exact model EU3200IAN (49-state); EU3200IAC is the same unit, CARB-compliant. Not the live Honda EU3000iS and not the live Honda EU2200i. If the data plate does not say EU3200I, this page does not apply.
Enclosed inverter generator. Honda GX130, 130 cc single-cylinder OHC, electronic fuel injection with no choke and no carburetor. Gasoline only (E10), 1.2 gal tank. Recoil start only; no battery, no remote start.
Outlets: one 30 A 125 V locking receptacle (L5-30R per Generator Bible) and one 20 A 125 V duplex (5-20R). No DC output. No 240 V. The locking outlet is not a TT-30R: an RV cord needs an L5-30P to TT-30R adapter.
59.1 lb dry, 22.5 × 12.0 × 17.8 in, two molded handles, no wheels. 58 dB(A) at rated load, 54 dB(A) at 1/4 load (Honda does not state the distance). CO-MINDER shuts the engine down on rising carbon monoxide. Oil Alert low-oil shutdown. Generator Bible lists under 3% THD and a floating neutral.
Warranty: 3 years residential, 12 months commercial per the product page.
Price: Honda lists MSRP $2,799 (IAN) / $2,899 (IAC) on 21 Oct 2026. Links: no affiliate.
Running watts first: 2,600 W at 120 V (21.7 A). Surge second: 3,200 W maximum (26.7 A), for motor starts only. The 30 A outlet does not raise that ceiling.
Fuel, from Honda's run-time claims: 3.3 h at rated load on 1.2 gal, about 0.36 gal/h; 8.6 h at 1/4 load (about 650 W), about 0.14 gal/h. A 72-hour ice storm is about 10 gal at quarter load and 26 gal at rated load (Outage Stack math from Honda's figures). No propane option.
Using Outage Stack's size table ranges:
Parallel: Generator Bible lists it as parallel-capable; Honda's product page does not. Confirm with a dealer before planning two units.
It depends. Buy it when the job is a 120 V fridge, furnace blower, and network stack plus one window AC or microwave, you want Honda EFI starts and low noise, and you will carry 59 lb. Skip it when you need 240 V, electric start, or propane, or when $2,799 matters more than weight: the EU3000iS gives 200 more running watts and a bigger tank if you can move 131 lb. Plan from 2,600 W, not 3,200 W.
